Try the following: 

Restart your browser and the Lix app for desktop.
Open Facebook in your browser and sign in.
Open a new tab and go to www.lix.com and sign in with your Facebook credentials.
Open your Lix desktop app and click "Sign in with Facebook."

Alternatively, you can type in the email you've used to create your Facebook account here. Then, we'll email you so you can create a new password to use when signing in to Lix together with your email. Remember—check your spam folder. Sometimes our emails accidentally get sent there.
